Cuba reached nine days without deaths from COVID-19, as reported today by Dr. Francisco Durán, national director of epidemiology of the Cuban Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP), who also said that the nine infections in the last 24 hours correspond to Cubans, and that one of them developed the disease during his mandatory quarantine due to his arrival from abroad.

In that case, the individual, 28 years old and who came from Mexico, joins Holguín’s cases, although the province has not reported cases by local transmission for more than a month, despite the data.
