Sacha Cosmetics, a line of cosmetics from Trinidad and Tobago specifically designed for exotic skin tones like the ones you find in the Caribbean, is the new proposal of the Cuban retail chain TRD. On several occasions this cosmetic line was the official makeup at international events such as the Miss Universe pageant, and now it has already started distribution in malls in Cuba.

Featured in particular composition and potential audience, for decades the brand has been restoring itself as a sought after choice for women with diverse skin tones. Today due to the collaboration with the Cuban company TRD Caribe, this Trinitarian brand will be available to the Cuban women with multiple proposals in beauty.

As its owner Kama Maharaj explains, “Ours is one of the most important Trinitarian companies worldwide. We are the only ones in the world that make products for different skin tones, so we are perfect for the Caribbean market, including the beautiful Cuban women since we have offers and colors for each and every one of their skin tones.

“Our products are designed specifically for hot climates, providing long stay and beauty once applied because is designed for countries like ours where the sun hits a lot. For Cuba we are introducing two lines of care and beauty: one is makeup and fragrances is the other.

“The main product in make-up is the basis; Sacha’s is different because combines the tones better than any other product in the world, both for women with light and dark skin, and all the exotic skin tones. It is proven that matches perfectly with the beautiful colors of Caribbean women.

“On the other hand we have the perfumes that are not only attractive for men and women, but also have a long life. In Trinidad and the wider Caribbean, we love festivals and perfumes cannot go away after an hour or two! With our range you can enjoy all night, sweating and still preserve the fragrance. These are the proposals we bring to Cuba where we are working, as part of a strategy focused on Latin America and its women. “

As stated by the manager Laritza Bacallao is the ” Sacha Girl ” in Cuba . The renowned artist spoke about her experience with Oncuba :

“Sacha Cosmetics was unexpected. It is my pleasure to represent the Cuban woman who has always liked to be made up, presentable, nice, and do so with a type of cosmetic designed particularly for our complexion of exotic skins from the lightest to the darkest with a wide range of colors and shades to give sex appeal that women are looking for. It is also a specific product for wet and warm climates as the one we have here. Sacha even includes a fastener to ensure that the application is maintained.

” I think it’s a great opportunity for all Cuban women to get back to this component of femininity ; both those girls who don’t use much makeup or the more mature who have discarded this way of looking at the fact that there is too hot and make-up is constantly running . Representing this line as a Cuban and as a young woman gives me great satisfaction. “

Meanwhile makeup specialist and assistant to Larizta, Raciel Polo, likewise highlights the multiple benefits of the Trinidad and Tobago brand: “I tried it on many faces, took time using it, and also I think for Laritza is excellent because the main pigment product has a lot to do with our skin, usually with yellowish base. This makeup blends easily into the skin and you do not see the contrast of the colors, everything looks very natural. It does not cause irritation, it breathes out even after application and it is not easily lost through sweating or warms, or feels heavy on the skin. I think Sacha was the product that the Caribbean was missing.”

Present for over 10 years in the delegation of Trinidad and Tobago at the International Fair of Havana, Sacha Cosmetics has been establishing contacts with Cuba that now are moving forward to have a sales booth at the Galerias de Paseo Mall and where you can purchase its products. Jude Carasquero points thereon.

“This brand is exclusively today with TRD Caribe and we selected the current location on Galerias de Paseo considering its high public circulation. As the Vedado is a place demographically heavily loaded with people we are promoting a product specifically at this center. The company offers a wide range that includes lipstick, lip gloss, perfume, nail polish, shades, bases … I mean, it has everything to women. Sacha Cosmetics is a native of the Caribbean, made in the Caribbean and for Caribbean women, women with exotic skins who want to feel more groomed and beautiful without sacrificing quality. “
