The insertion of Cuban volleyball players in foreign leagues and the return of the main beach volleyball pairs to the world circuits are the two min novelties for Cuba volleyball for 2015

In statements to the press, the president of the Cuban Volleyball Federation, Ariel Sainz, described 2014 as encouraging because despite not having had good results at the top level “there are great expectations for 2015”

Sainz said they are in talks with foreign clubs that are interested in hiring Cuban players.

He added that the leagues with greater possibilities of inserting Cuba players in box sexes are the Japanese, Turkish and the Indonesian. Regarding beach volleyball, he said the main Cuban pairs would play some stages of the world circuit in 2015, after winning some events in the NORCECA circuit.

The Cuban official said he was unhappy with the results of the Cuban indoor teams that ended with bronze medals in the Veracruz Games.

He announced as well that the main events for Cubans will be the Pan America games in Toronto, the World League, the Grand Prix and the six world championships Cuba qualified to in the U18, U20, and U23 categories.
